CALYPSO UNDERWATER BEDROOM MODEL (FLAGSHIP)
Our flagship Calypso model (1,898 sq ft) is designed to be in water depths of at least 13ft at low tide, utilizing areas of deeper water. Optimal placement is in protected waters at depths of 15 to 30 ft. No model is designed for use in the open ocean.
All models are state of the art, technologically advanced self sustaining floating villa. Designed to be unaffected by future climate change and global conditions like floods, sea level rise and hurricane force storms and wind. Available completely off grid, with a carbon neutral footprint and super yacht class luxury, the future of living on the water in harmony with nature has arrived.

Our Calypso (studio) model 35 by 35 (1,754 sq ft) has all of the above features without the underwater bedroom and can be placed in waters as shallow as eight feet low tide.

OVERVIEW
Total square feet 1,898
Deck level living area 35ft x 35ft = 1,225 square feet
Upper entertaining deck 23ft x 23ft = 529 square feet
Lower underwater bedroom 12ft x 12ft = 144 square feet
Structure built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) and USCG standards and above, sea trials performed and inspected before delivery. Structure is steel framing and steel hull construction, all coatings and finishes are marine grade including advanced anti fouling bottom paint below waterline with an optional metalized extended life surfacing.
All flooring is premium grade Brazilian Ipe (iron wood) hardwood from eco friendly renewable resources. Modular deck tiles raised off the floor allowing water drainage.
OFF-grid power
Off-grid power supplied by a 11kw, 30 panel, 16 battery bank off grid solar energy system. The 30 solar panels will be installed on the flat upper deck entertaining area outside the railing on the perimeter. Battery bank will be in a below deck chamber. A (quite run) 14000watt backup generator is included.
fresh water
Fresh water will come from a 200 gallon per day water desalinization system
waste water management system
A full waste water management system that produces contaminant free, environmentally harmless water will be installed. IMO and coast guard certified, end water deemed environmentally friendly and harmless to marine life.
Estrella del mar
All units are designed to be integrated into the Estrella De Mar (starfish) community, optimally designed for maximum privacy and under sea viewing with a private central gathering and entertaining area.
lower underwater room
Lower underwater bedroom will have a powered lift for handicap access to the lower level. Each wall will have a 6ft by 8ft clear acrylic viewing area to the surrounding ocean. All four viewing areas will have blinds and outside/underwater led lighting for nighttime viewing. A full king size bed with two night stands included. IPE flooring, air conditioning and lighting.
UPPER ENtertaining DECK
Upper entertaining deck will have Ipe flooring and a stainless steel cable railing around the perimeter. Furnishings include cabana style shade structure, two chaise lounge chairs and fire pit.
main deck level
Open air concept with 10 ft ceilings will have eco friendly Ipe flooring, air conditioning, led lighting and a ceiling fan. The main area will have a sliding glass wall system to either enclose the area or make it an open air environment. Privacy blinds on all windows and glass walls. Automatic touch button smoked glass will be available as an upgrade. Bathroom with a modern toilet, sink and make up station and a shower is located at the rear of the main deck. For regions that experience hurricanes or have a need for additional security, full floor to ceiling hurricane blinds are available at additional cost and are highly recommended.
SAFETY features
Safety features on all units include, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, bilge pumps, alarms, backup generator, live vests, railings and a handicap access lift to lower underwater bedroom. Recommended four point flexible mooring tie down system is available. Optional hurricane blinds.

All units are completely mobile and designed with raked hulls for quick, easy movement through the water.
