We offer Calypso in an underwater bedroom version, and a studio version without an underwater bedroom. We also offer a smaller 25 ft by 25 ft model and are currently developing a two story/two-bedroom model and a three-bedroom model with a master state room and full swimming pool. Floor plans are available upon request.

All villas are customized to the end user’s individual specifications if they differ from our standard run production unit. Customized villas may incur additional cost and will affect production schedule.

Sea Haven Villas provide a five-star experience. All detailed standard finishes are listed in the build specification for each model and are available upon request, physical interior finish samples are also available. Please contact us directly for further information and for a consultation meeting.

Determination of classification will depend on the governing/permitting body in the country where the villa is being used. We expect most users to flag the villa as a vessel in the country it is being used in. In most cases, only a mooring permit should be needed. Each villa will have a registered hull number and builders certificate and will be built to ABS and USCG construction standards. It will have basic USCG safety features (anchor, fire extinguishers, anchor navigation light, and life jackets), and it will also have separate sealed hull chambers. Sea Haven Villas will assist the owner providing information for permitting once final location is known.

Sea Haven Villas are not considered a passenger vessel and are not under power, nor do they have an engine. They are moored in a stationary location and are designed to be towed to and from location; therefore, you do not need a captain’s license to occupy.

Full safety instructions will be given at the time of delivery and orientation. Sea Haven Villas are built with safety in mind starting with the shape of the structure, our beam is as wide as our berth (it is a perfect 35 by 35ft square) providing the most stable floating platform you can design. We then included several sealed hull chambers to eliminate sinking or flooding. On board there are life vests, bilge pumps, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, optional hurricane blinds, recommended four-point mooring system, navigation light, shore communication, stainless steel and glass railings, and a backup generator. Our biggest safety feature is our ability to pick up and move whenever and wherever we need to or want to.

Insurance will be with a marine insurance company, again determined by the end location of the villa. (To the users advantage it is not considered a “passenger vessel” by the USCG since it is intended for less than 6 passengers and is not motorized).

Sea Haven Villas are built in the order we receive deposits. For a single unit you can expect delivery in 4- 6 months, for multiple villa orders, the first villa will be delivered in 4-6 months and the others in a much more rapid procession depending on the number orders, size of the villa, and any customized equipment or finishes.

We offer a one-year limited warranty on construction and craftsmanship, and manufacturer warranty on all equipment.

We have partnered with a global shipping company that can handle delivery anywhere in the world, priced upon request after number of villas requested and final location is known. (Please keep in mind the least expensive way to ship is to ship multiple villas at once).

Sea Haven Villas are built on the east coast of northern Florida, United States of America and will be delivered from there.

Villas may be used as rented resort nightly accommodations, time share or vacation club rentals, private residence, or as a base for dive operations and marine research vessels. Prime locations include calm water harbors, marina slips and marina resorts, private docks, and waterfront properties.

A deposit of 25% and progress payments at milestone completion stages with the final 5% at time of completion.

An order of one base model villa based on current configuration start to finish will be 5-6 months (please be aware this is only for a single order of one villa). Orders of multiple units can be produced in production line fashion at a rapid rate determined by the number of units and delivery time anticipated needs of the customer. Build schedules will also be determined by which model and what customization if any is chosen.

Yes, we can complete a model or models faster if need be. We would need to know what time frame is being asked of us to give a factual answer on how that could change the pricing.

Daily maintenance will be general cleaning and wash down of the deck, periodic wash down of the solar panels is recommended for maximum energy production. Depending on the biological load of the water surrounding the unit, cleaning of the acrylic underwater windows will need to be done anywhere from a few times a week to every other week. Every unit comes standard with a snuba airline and air compressor for this purpose. Other maintenance on equipment will be periodic filter changes according to manufacturer recommendations on the waste water system (while our waste water management system produces environmentally harmless waste water, some local municipalities may require you to pump out the waste water holding tank). A portable tank pump is included for this purpose should the need arise) and water desalination system. On a whole there is very minimal maintenance compared to a standard yacht as there is no mechanical propulsion or fuel system. A yearly equipment test and inspection by a qualified member of the Sea Haven Villa team is recommenced (this would include mooring inspection). All villa equipment and systems are modular and interchangeable by design for quick replacement or upgrades. Solar panels and batteries for the solar energy system have a life expectancy that will vary with environmental conditions. Panels are rated for up to 20 years, batteries rated for 5-10 years.

For owners who may not be at the villa all the time, we offer full ceiling to floor lockable hurricane blinds that enclose the entire structure.

Long-term ownership cost compared to a traditional yacht of similar size are minimal due to the unit providing its own energy and water supply. There will be no electric, no water bill, no fuel costs (beyond use of the backup generator in case of emergency) Refits and upgrades will be at the discretion of the owner. All materials are marine grade, and fabrics are UV-resistant. There are several grades of undercoating, ranging from a standard five-year paint system to a metalized coating system that would result on a undercoating life beyond 20 years.

No shore connections of any kind needed. Standard villas are completely self-sustaining and configured to be off grid, therefore very cost efficient to operate. On grid pricing is available for locations where that is an option and would be priced upon request. We also offer the option for an off-grid villa with the capacity to be used with shore electric and sewer giving you ultimate flexibility.

Sea Haven Villas are built and designed with marine grade equipment and are a practical investment. All equipment is modular and easily replaced or upgraded. Unlike a beachfront villa, Sea Haven Villas may be sold and relocated at anytime by simply being towed or transported to the new location.
